A new garden studio inspired the revamping of its surroundings, as the views from the large glass windows were of an old pond and a bank of planting past its best. The new design by Christine Whatley of Sylvan Studio, introduced a new pond with an out flowing rill which discharged to an underground tank, from where it was recycled running along a channel in the top of the new retaining wall.
The pool and rill are edged with granite setts, and the terrace is laid with Cotswold gravel, and the area is accessed via a path under a Western Red Cedar pergola.
